By Air
There are two main airlines that run domestic services from mainland Australia to Tasmania.  Virgin Airlines and Jetstar.  We recommend that if travelling from overseas to Australia that you arrange to fly into either Sydney or Melbourne with a connecting flight through to Launceston. There are much better connection options available from these cities.

An airport shuttle bus runs from Launceston Airport into Launceston.  Information on this service can be found on the airport’s website.
