Diver Training

ADAS Australian Diver Accreditation Scheme

IMCA The international association representing offshore, marine and underwater engineering companies.

ADAS requires students from non English speaking countries to undertake Language, Literary and Numeracy (LNN) testing prior to commencing their course. Click here for more information and to complete the questionnaire.

 

Centrelink

ADAS has all of its accredited courses approved by Centrelink. This means an Australian student studying at an ADAS accredited training establishment may be able to access Centrelink benefits for the duration of their study.

To apply for Centrelink support while studying, you will need to:

1)     Download an application form from the Centrelink website:

http://www.humanservices.gov.au/customer/themes/students-and-trainees

2)     Include the Institution Code for ADAS: 2P924.

3)     All ADAS course codes can be found at training.gov.au

Visa Information

Overseas candidates will require a visa to enter Australia and undergo studies.  Applications for visas cannot be lodged in Australia, visa applications must be applied for prior to coming to Australia.  The visa we recommend to apply for is a 676 subclass tourist visa, which will allow you to stay in Australia for 3 months and undertake studies.  You can apply for this visa on-line via the website at http://www.immi.gov.au/
